Thank you everyone, any feedback is appreciated.

If you look on University of South Carolina’ s Common Data Set , it will give you info on the most recent years acceptance stats. Compare yours to theirs . Also , you may want to go to the " Colleges and Universitys" section of CC. You’ll find some valuable info there.

Yes, I know. I have analyzed those statistics like crazy and I still find it difficult to put everything into perspective. I am below some of their averages, greater than others, and even fall right in the middle of some. I was posting to possibly receive some feedback from people who have applied in the past with similar statistics.

I would say you have a really good shot. I applied there about a month ago:
ACT: 27
SAT: 1290 (new)
UW GPA: 3.87
W GPA: 4.47
Rank: 20/405
No APs, about 8 honors classes
Two years cheerleading, one year lacrosse, one year of work

I haven’t received a letter accepting me yet, but I’ve received letters from them about my eligibility for scholarships. They said if I went there they would be prepared to offer me about $13,000 my first year and $9,000 after that (this is off the top of my head). I am instate so I qualify for the Palmetto Fellowship scholarship. Your SAT score makes you very competitive for the school and would definitely make up for your GPA, plus you have a ton of extracurriculars and you are coming from out of state. Are you planning on studying international business? If yes, you might want to consider bumping up your standardized test scores a little bit more because that program is really competitive.

According to Collegesimply.com only 9% of their last years entering class had a W GPA of <3.5

I got in tho
