<p>ok how much do the number of AP's you've taken affect admission? For example, I've only taken 3 by the end of this junior year and 4 next year. Does it look bad that I've only taken 3 by the time I've applied and the rest of you guys on these board seem to have taken like at least 6 or 7?</p>

<p>I've taken the rest honors classes, but other kids at my school have skipped into many ap classes their junior year by summer classes and where they began from middle school. Will this look bad for me since i am coming from the same school?</p>

<p>Also how big a role do scores on AP tests play???????</p>

<p>Lots of questions I know, but I would love some answers.

<p>I only took 3 by the time I applied..I got into 3 top 40 schools and my stats werent amazing</p>

<p>It only matters how many you take relative to other kids and how many your school actually offers. If your school offers like 15, adcoms will expect you to take a good amount. If your school offers only 5, don't worry about all the other schools who have more AP's available to them.</p>
