...or would you wait for October?

Simply…No

umm… is this ur first or second time? if second wait… if not see how u feel tomorrow morning. If u feel horrible, dont put ur self through the pain of a 3-4 hour long test

It will be her first time taking the SAT but wanted to apply ED and she needs to take SAT Subject Tests in the fall, too.

October: SAT
November: Subject Tests

One chance for both. The June test isn’t worth taking.

ED won’t work in that case, I would suggest judging it based on the morning. But if the fever stays above 101, I would suggest just staying home, there’s no point in taking the test if you aren’t going to do well

Hard call. Did she start antibiotics today? Pump her up with 3 advil tomorrow if you do send her.

Ds was sick with a fever during the week of May SATs and 2 AP tests. Not a good choice. His SAT scores definitely reflected that and he couldn’t even finish the APs.

Good luck. Hope she feels better.

Yes, she did start antibiotics. She ended up missing a final today, too. I think she should stay home but she wants to take it. So, we’ll have to see in the morning. Thanks!

I had a fever today and took the sat but mine was just a 100.4. It’s a horrible experience and I dont recommend it

Aj1993- I’m sorry you weren’t feeling well either. I hope you did well anyway. Feel better!

She got up to get ready but she was still too sick and we sent her back to bed. So, October will be her only shot and any scholarship hopes are shot. But we’ll make it work somehow.

Lol I took my ACT under the same conditions and scored a 23 lol lucky it was the beginning of my junior year (or end of sophmore can’t remember), so I was able to retake. It hurts to think under those conditions literally and you will hurt your score. I would say dont take it now and wait for the next.
