I been stressing a lot lately about academics and whatnot. Everytime I feel stressed, I try to "sleep" it off. Sometimes, my irritable mood gives me a spanky, lol. Feeling stressed really sucks. Add some horrible grades on top of that with horrible friends, and a horrible family.

peace and love. (LOL)

I am the same here. So much to do, so little time, so little diligence. I think you need to prioritize, I mean, pick out what is really important to you. That is what I do when I am stressed.

i don't stress 'less i want to

I'm stressed even though I'm really not doing much, except waiting for junior year to crush my soul.

^ You and I are in the same boat.

When I'm stressed, I tend to eat voraciously. Obviously, that doesn't lead to great results.

If you're stressed during the summer, how do you survive the school year?

^ Seriously...I have a lack of stress during the summer...probably should find a way to pile on some stress to stop procrastinating.

My stress level is equal during school/summer...it's pretty minimal.
Don't worry about grades...just try. I'm willing to bet either a) you compare/pressure yourself to other smart people or b) your parents pressure/compare you. In the end, as it goes, you shouldn't be much stressed if you don't put pressure on yourself...you are probably putting some pressure on yourself. Just think, "Oh, w/e, it's all G".

And play some games and sleep. Also spend TIME with friends; you aren't going to have many good friends if you don't spend time with them...go to movies, play sports together, even games like nerds (Like brawl parties and other awesome stuff)...It is summer, too.

Who actually does stuff in the summer? That's why it's called summer, **vacation./B

Me too! I am constantly stressing. If there is nothing to stress about, I go out of my way to find SOMETHING. Lol. I think I have an anxiety disorder!!

This is always what I'm TRYING to think.. but it never really happens.

Haha settle down... I know it's summer vacation, but you ever think of prepping for the school year like buying some AP books early and looking them over? You've gotta find your own way of relieving stress, like for me I jump around. So the day before a big test, you'll probably find me jumping around my house with my notebook studying, and when I get tired I sit down... then I jump around some more. I just hope it's not as bad as you make it sound lol.

why are you stressed its the summer. You have the whole school year to be stressed out

You're not alone. I am also pretty stressed. Lately I've just been thinking about all the crap I need to finish before school starts and brushing most of it off to hang out with friends, but I really need to get to work again.

If I wasn't a senior I would put all of this off, but I really need to be using my time wisely.

For those anxiously awaiting junior year: just enjoy summer while you can.

^I'm with Radiotowers, except I'm not a senior. I just have a really impatient debate coach and marching band director. :)

That probably means you're not trying that much.

Sorry to sound harsh, but honestly worrying isn't going to do a thing and it's most likely your parents/yourself/peers pressuring you, and if you choose not to buy in it won't really affect you...I find this whole "i'm so stressed zomg I feel like I'm in the worst situation in the world cuz i have a couple B's and my parents pressure me!!" really overrated...NOTHING that others don't have.

I admit that when I was in high school myself, I was always stressed out.

Grades, college application, how other students were faring, parental expectations, and the list goes on and on. It was like juggling and running an endless marathon; sometimes with no light at the end.

But don't forget-

You're getting the best education, you are trying your best and you also have a family who loves and is concerned about you; no matter what the outcome might be.

Throughout all that confusion, just don't forget to pause every now and to breathe, and to appreciate the small stuff that can often times go unnoticed.
