Hey everyone,
This thread is for anyone still waiting to hear back from schools about decisions or anyone who wants to talk about the stress of waiting! If you are anything like me, you just want to talk about it; this is the place to do it!
Let others know where you’re waiting to hear from, what your stats are, if you are feeling good about it, and if you are doing anything to help your application while waiting! Or you can just rant about the impatience of waiting for rolling decisions;)
I am a transfer waiting to hear back from NYU, Cornell, and Boston College. I got accepted into UNC Chapel Hill, but REALLY want to get into BC. I don’t find out till Friday, May 12th, and the wait is killing me. Also, UNC needs to have a decision on Monday, May 15th, so that’s great timeline, lol.
Anyone else?
@SwellyBelly I’m surprised you prefer BC over UNC. For me personally, I prefer UNC but of course it’s all subjective 
I’m waiting for Cornell and PENN but I don’t thtink there is a specific date they’re all released. I’m also more than happy with the school I currently deposited to
@Dogcat73 mainly because I’m going into the financial industries and Boston is a great place for that. Plus I was obsessed after visiting BC! What are you majoring in (or planning to major in)?
@SwellyBelly I actually applied as undecided for the school I deposited to. I definitely like the more liberal arts/humanitarian side, so perhaps sociology (communication), English, or even psych (I like developmental and social psych, not neuro tho). Not too sure as you can tell. Hbu!
@Dogcat73 Oh nice! I am transferring, so I am already pretty far into my studies, but I am either going for finance or economics - depending on the school!
I’m waiting to hear back from Vanderbilt, right now everyone is anticipating something on Tuesday… the closer the day comes the more i feel I’m not going to be accepted or I won’t get my decision on that day and have to wait another week or two… I feel so badly about it tbh because I’ve lost my confidence
Waiting to hear back from Florida State…almost positive I’ll get in but the wait is killing me lol
@somehmonggirl I totally feel you. Waiting takes a toll on you because the longer you wait, the more scenarios run through your mind of what will happen. And college confidential is awesome, but it’s just another tool to psych yourself out as you read about other people’s stats and acceptances. Just gotta stay positive! And remember that no matter where you end up, you’ll make the best of it and be successful. In a year or so, all this waiting will just be a crazy memory, and you’ll be glad you ended up where you did:)
@Mevans6 when do you hear back?
I am waiting for 6 cunys to get back to me. I am looking to go to community college ( queens borough or laguardia), but they said I will hear back in June. I am stressed because I applied extremely late ( April 19). I just want to commit to a school already. From community college I might transfer to another cuny, then transfer to either ( for right now might change) : unc which is top pharmacy, umich, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, or maybe famu.
