Well its just over out being sick, my school only allows 12 absences before you lose credit and so far ive misse 4. They're excused if you bring a doctors note and the school does not accept parents notes, but I'm not going to the doctors just to tell me I have a cold with a fever or have a flu. Ughh I guess i just need to vent and starting to get really stressed heh

You can have 14 absences at my school per semester, and so far I've missed 9 because of a bladder infection. I'm scared, especially since the infection is coming back.

Yeah but the thing is its 12 for the entire year not the semester, luckily I dont have any single semester courses only full year one, hope you feel better

Ouch, people...teenagers seem to get sick a lot...like, more than children and adults.

Read this, yesterday I formally asked my guidance counselor how I can obtain the Perfect Attendance award, she replied, "You can't miss a day of school from kindergarden." My reply was, "Are you serious?" (In absolute awe mode)

That's crazy policy...what if you have a weak immune system and you get sick everytime someone around you gets sick? I mean, just because you stayed home for a day or two doesn't mean you need a freaking doctors note! I've never in my life been to the doctor for anything but physicals (but I don't really count since my dad's a doctor and our house is like an arsenal of pills and antibiotics).

your immune system weakens greatly due to sleep deprivation.
