THANKS AGAIN GUYS/GALS

are you kidding me?!

low chances?

i thought you would be an average kid (really average, not CC "average") that was applying to HYPS....

I can't help much cuz I applied to two non-california schools (Boston U and Boston college)
but from what I know, I say you have a good chance and Boston U and Berkeley.
actually, I got into both those schools with similar scores but less ECs (but i did make my few ECs sound awesome) so you probably have a very good chance at those schools

Calm down dude: you have impeccable stats. And the schools aren't going to be comparing you to others in different states, but comparing you to your school. You've taken very tough clases, have a 4.0 (believe me, you don't need over it), are highly ranked, have great scores and have good ECs (a Football captain with a 4.0? Impressive.). I don't know what state you're in, but I would say you should get into Michigan, Berkeley, UT, A&M, GT and BU without problems. You also have a great shot at your dream colleges as well.

Just write really good essays, and you should get into a lot of if not most of the schools.

thank you so much guys for the reassuring words. I live in GA (cry) which is the 47-48th smartest state. The whole football season, college apps, school, AND science fair is stressing me out my (senior) year. If I do get accepted to one of those engineering schools, what are my chances of getting a full or almost full rides? I am talking with the marines, rotc because I REALLY do not want to spend my parents money.

I'm asian, parents are blue collar workers, and I think they worked too hard to spend money for my colleges so I am want to go to military and apply for full tuition scholarship (essay topic?)
