I don't need financial aid. I'm a Korean male and I live in Florida.
If I get into Emory, that's all I need. I'm only applying to Northwestern and Duke for my reach schools in case i dont get into Emory. As for G.tech, is it not safe to consider it my safety school when I live out-of-state??? Should I apply to more schools? If so, which?

Thanks for the help!!! I will chance back!

raise the SAT, it shouldn’t be hard to.
study the writing section and memorize the rules of grammar, your score will instantly go up.

the CR will take practice and analyzing, harder to study for

Yeah, my writing and reading scores have already improved a lot. I am pretty confident that I will break 2100 atleast and am aiming to get a 2200.

You are a “A” average student so your GPA is high.
My advice dont sweat it. You have a very peculiar resume.
And your SAT is high.

Youll do fine :)

In the end you might be one of the best students applying there but if its not meant for you to go to there you wont… but just relax take care of your papers, admissions essays, and you will be in !

Thanks alexandro!
I’ve read that a display of interest at Emory helps a lot because I heard that many students apply there for a back-up to Ivy league schools. And I’ve visited the campus, talked to students there, and attended a high school visit from Emory. So i hope things work out for me!

Also, my essays for Emory are the best essays i have ever written. My tutor, teacher, and close friends praised me for how creative and well-written they are. Thanks again!

bump to the max

I think that if you raise that CR and W score to the mid 50 range of the school, you’ll have a great chance for admissions

You have a spectacular GPA and your EC’s are great. Your SAT scores are unbalanced between Math and CR (I have that problem too) so it’s good that you’re taking it again. You have a great chance with ED!

I think you have a really high chance at getting into Emory, because i know a friend there and she said that they look more at ECs than rank, but even still your rank is a plus for you, so you should be fine. g’luck :)

chance me back pls :)
