I am also really stressed out about it. the first time around you think you have it bad having to wait until March or whatever, but when you go about trying to transferring you realize that May/June is REALLY difficult

****...its like you just sit there pondering if you'll get in or not....CONCENTRATE ON YOUR STUDIES....if transfer does not work out...you want to at least maintain a decent grade at your current university

Some of us aren't at a university, and some of us are quite finished with community college (i.e., we have few other options if we don't get an acceptance).

The fact is, all this stressing, if you think about it, is quite fun! I'm sure I have a different outlook on most things, but I know several people who are rather envious of my (our) situation of having applied to several really cool universities, even if it could end up in rejection across the board.

i like to think of it as a secnd senior year...you aren't quite sure where you will be going and nervous aobut getting in, but you get to have an awesome time since you probably won't be seeing these people ever again (except for the good friends you have made)

lol they admitted onl 1 transfer student in 2004 i think. its possible, but that would completley suck if they did that again!! where did you read that??

the collegebard website says that they accepted 7 transfer students out of 199, but doesn't indicate a year. the middlebury website says that in 2005-06 they accepted 7 out of 197, and the previous year they accepted 1 out of 230. I would assume that the stats on the collegeboard refer to last year, because i dont think that they can publish the new information that quickly.
