STRESSING! Pre-med next year!!!

"If there is no gap between MS2 and MS3 at all, when do most students take STEP-1 at your D’s school? "
-D’s scheduled on May 2. Anybody else?

As far as I understand, there is only one method to this madness - read, read, and read all the crazy number that has been ordered and stacked up and I have no idea how high is this stack. When there is a picture, D. loves to draw and label it herself, she said, it helps her a lot to memorize.

I think Kristin is referring to Taus

^Trap’s right. It’s Taus. This might be the exact version my doc’s based off of: [2010 Taus Method](<a href=“2010 Taus Method | PDF | Question | Medical Specialties”>2010 Taus Method | PDF | Question | Medical Specialties)

(Mine’s been slightly annotated by an M3 buddy)

(And my test date is 5/28)

There is most certainly NOT only one method to this madness.

I could never “read, read, read” and am pretty sure the largest chunk of reading I ever did in one sitting was 20 pages in a review book. I only used 3 books including First Aid during my study period. I did however do somewhere between 5 and 10 thousand practice questions.

what other qbanks did you use besides uworld?

Before you answer, let me guess! Rapid Review Path and…hm. High Yield Something. And to Trap, I bet you’re asking IWBB, but I’m using both Kaplan and UWorld–what are you doing?

Brs path and physio.

I used uworld and got through almost all my incorrects a 2nd time, Robbins path qbook and the questions in brs physio/path.

During the second semester of 2nd year I used goljan’s path and usmlerx to study for the classes I was taking.
