ok great thanks so much, i dont know about so much as a safety, but for some reaosn i just dont feel confident. and my gpa is from all my high school credit courses taken in middle school and freshman cumulative, so it should def be 3.6-3.7 after this year. thank you!

SAFETY?! i wouldn't say that... people with better stats have been rejected-- in spite of this, i think you'll have a strong chance if you get your gpa up and study for your impending SATs. good luck :)

well my hs has sent like 6 seniors early decision, a few with about the same stats as mine when ill be a jr. my projected gpa for jr year is a 3.9, and i know uva cares A LOT about what your course load is. i am taking the most rigorous course load offered. hopefully my sat scores will be high, even though my sis did get in with a 1200.

You need very solid SATs for UVa to be a safety. To be comfortable you will need to easily exceed the upper end of the 25-75% test score breakdown (ie 1430+ unless you are from northern va)

that was kinda negative and discouraging, but hopefully i will do good on my sats. the only thing is i know that my friend got in with a 1420 and my sister got in with a 1200, also my friend got into william and mary with a 1220 and 3.4 gpa. anything is truly possible.

It means this is too early to become obsessed with College Confidential. ;) Good luck w/U.Va.---I applied there this year, so maybe I'll see you in a few.

What Kebree said is exactly what I mean...you are too young to become obsessed with CC. You still have 1 year of grades, and those one year of grades can make all the difference in your acceptance or rejection at UVA.....First get your final SAT/ACT scores and gpa + class rank, then you will know what sort of chance you have...

And dont forget , nobody on this site is qualified to give you your exact chances. They are all just giving opinions. Dont judge your chances by what others say. You need to work hard to get into UVa, and only you can do this.

Once again, you are WAY too young to think about all this and ask for chances...you are not even half way through high school!

But when the time does come, I wish you luck and hope you make it into all the universities your want to go toi!
