Strikes next week

<p>So apparently there's going to be a professor / GSI strike next Wed-Fri.</p>

<p>Question: if you have a midterm on one of those days, is it still going to be on? What are the policies for those who decide to miss it? etc</p>

<p>You have to check with your professor about that. I also have a midterm during the strike next week, but my professor is not postponing it nor is he offering retakes.</p>

<p>An additional 32% fee increase! I normally don’t care, but having tuition for the first time go over $10,000 is ridiculous!</p>

<p>This is disgraceful if true, especially considering the unwarranted luxuriousness that tends to prevail in the latest constructions.</p>

<p>Well Berkeley needs to finish construction somehow lol. Strikes are so utterly pointless if they are only for a few days. An effective strike imo requires more consistency. This is just way too random. I don’t want an increase in tuition but still…</p>

<p>I believe that most professors have had to sign a pact saying that they will not penalize students for not going to class during the strike. It seems your professor is an asswipe</p>
