String Theory & MLK SAT Test

sermon one = debt to king and civil rights movement? Something like that.

I know suffer = endure is right
No idea for the attitude of 2nd author towards quote (put cynical mistrust)

emblem? wasn't that a SC?

What were the answers to the 1st passage but not second passage question?

O yea the gratitude sin answer is debt to MLK/civil rights movement.

Isn't the sermon one obligation to Martin Luther

****...i feel screwed...what will i get for 5 wrong, 1 omit? or 7 wrong, 1 omit? ---> last time i got 5 wrong = 730, thx ppl!

For the acting passage, one of the answers was "to show how similar acting is to dance."

What were the other answers? I seriously doubt that she was comparing acting to dance...

i dun think so....i have no clue y though LOL

I think the answer was to show how sounds can set process like dance into motion

Yea it was something to do with how words can set something into motion.

Ah I got one,

What was the one about "how does the author of passage one develop his argument compared with the author of passage two?"

I think the two choices I went between were something like "The author introduces King's 'I Have a Dream' speech" and "The author assumes that the reader has no prior knowledge of MLK"

The answer was "citing an authority to support his argument"

yeah one of the answers that i put was (and of course i'm not sure): the author cites a quote that she later disputes

Q= what does author of passage 1 do that author of passage 2 doesn't? or something like that.

Wvern, but passage one only used the quote so he could disagree and prove contrary to it. The author did not support the quote at all

I agreee with the complete agreement answer.

The question asked what would the author of passage two say about the quote in passage one

It said nothing about what the author of passage one would say (which would clearly be disagree). The author of passage two would either be optimistic or in agreement. Because I found it difficult to be optimistic about a statement, I chose complete agreement, but it could be any of them.

Hamster, I meant 1 essay and 4 verbal sections.
