ANY SCHOOL YOU THINK WILL MATCH ME.

I am not a senior; I am a junior that wants to know how much strong SAT scores and an upward curve will affect my app (the 11th grade + AP scores are projected, not certain).

If anyone has ideas on how to help my EC's go up (I'm a jr right now), please say say so...

Also, I want to know whether you're supposed to take AP/SAT II tests as a senior :\ ......do the scores even count towards your application?

Thanks!

…AP Finite Math?

Yes, what is AP Finite math?

A strong 11th grade GPA and SAT don’t erase your poor 10th grade GPA, but they certainly help a lot, and the big upward trend is good. Your EC’s don’t seem very strong unless these athletic teams are actually competitive; at many schools they aren’t.

As for AP tests as a senior, some schools force you to take the test if you’re taking the class, and some don’t. Most people who have taken the class do take the exam as well even if they aren’t required to, for credit purposes/award purposes, but some don’t to save money, if that is a concern. SAT 2’s as a senior usually are completely pointless, but there are some instances in which a good enough SAT 2 score will place you out of some intro college course, so some people do take them.

my bad - not AP, just weighted Finite Math lol…

Thanks for the input bobtheboy! Anyone care to suggest ways to help my EC’s at this point of high school (Junior year)

finite math might not be recognized as a wieghted uc class! check first! and i think you’ll run into the same problem I have, because of your lower sophmore year GPA, your UC gpa won’t be very high since you have to cap your honors classes

You’re a junior now, how do you know your JR year GPA? The year has just begun.
