Columbia in New York is great if you want great academics as well as a drama major and access to NYC’s opportunites. Because of it’s core curriculum, you are required to take certain classes along with everyone else in the undergrad colleges, and wind up with a very well-rounded education. Unlike Brown or Yale, Columbia’s very strict core is perfect for drama majors who want to take academic classes without being at a competitive disadvantage.
