strong and weak points of Princeton Engineering

views will be welcome (Electrical)

I applied for CS there and got rejected. so it must suck :p jk

Currently i'm deciding between Princeton and Caltech, and I think I'll study engineering or physics. Princeton seems to have a great engineering department..yeah right. But compared to other engineernig-intensive schools like MIT, Princeton definitely would have a much smaller portion of engineering students. Therefore, much fewer students buried in Calculus homeworks, whom I think we'll have to sympathize with anyway. The thing is, as EE is considered as really demanding, it might be a pain to see all the others in your dorm enjoying there lives with "easier" majors, and still getting better GPA than you. At Princeton, many students who wanted to be scientists or engineers change their minds and end up majoring in humanities, as I heard. Maybe it's because pton's humanity courses were so glamorous that it attracted all those math freaks. Or maybe, they just wanted to hang around with their roommates.

Ooh, but you know, the diversity actually can be a huge plus in princeton..you'll meet a lot of strikingly different people, who will help you..and maybe you'll find an undiscovered part of you.

you know what, this kind of things are all i'm thinking of these days :P
