You need to look at the major - privilege colleges that emphasize culture in a broad sense (where literature classes are in the mix along with history, contemporary Germany, current issues, the press, etc.) Along with potential correlated classes (ie., German history in the history dept, business German from business, German art in art history…)
Dickinson and St Olaf are two colleges with that approach. I’m sure there are many more.
