<p>Grinnell offers merit aid.  It doesn’t have a journalism major (most LACs won’t) but here’s the link to the creative writing program / opportunities:

<p>Its newspaper is the “S&B” for the school colors and its very funny, well-written satirical newspaper is called the “B&S.”</p>
<p>It also “brings the world” to its campus and has a very social issues / international focus to its programming.</p>

<p>Grinnell is among the top five LAC endowments and you can see the evidence in the facilities, in the programming and in the wide variety of opportunities for personal attention, mentoring and subsidized internships. </p>
<p>It is different than most of the schools on your list in terms of size and location, except for Williams.</p>
