Stronger premed program

UNC or UVA, which one offers better premed/science program?

Neither. Base your decision between the two on cost and non-academic factors.

I think this idea really needs to be addressed as more students make decisions about where to attend college. The reputation for a premed or prelaw or whatever doesn't matter. What matters is how much work and effort you are willing to put into what you study. If you study and know your material inside out, then no one cares where you came from. If you had the worst work ethic in the world and I placed you at the best premed program in the country then you would be worse off than someone who has a work ethic at an average premed program. And to be quite frank, I would rather go to the doctor who came from the average program who knows their stuff as opposed to the other guy from the best school in the country. Remember the bell curve whenever you judge programs. Some students suck while others are clear overachievers. You determine where you fall.

Bottom line: It's up to YOU to make the most of your college experience, both academically and socially. YOU determine what college offers the best program by offering your work, interest, and passion. If you don't have what it takes, no program can save you.

GPA and MCAT matter, the subjects are the same. So it's really up to you.

I know this has been said, but I'll repeat it: pick the better school, not the "better premed program". There is no really "better" premed program, as the program is comprised of advising, classes, and more advising, and more classes. The reputation of the school is something better to look at for judging the quality of the program.
Now onto UVA vs UNC: you can't go wrong. Both are excellent, excellent schools. Congrads on being accepted to both, if you have. If you're applying in the future, apply to both. Focus on which school suits you better. Do well on MCAT and keep a high GPA, and you have a great shot at top med schools, including UVA.
