Structural Engineering MS Potential

I am currently a rising senior in Virginia Tech’s Civil program and looking to apply to MS programs in Structural engineering this fall. I have a 3.90, but no research experience. I have had two construction internships and a structural engineering internship. My GRE is 159 verbal, 165 quantitative, and 4.5 analytical writing. Do I have a chance at getting into the top programs like Stanford or University of Illinois? Should I retake the GRE this fall to help make it seem more practical? Also what schools would be a good chance for me if I kept this GPA and GRE score?

Thanks for the input guys!

If you are going for a professional degree (no research), then your internships are probably more important than having research experience. In that case, you certainly have a chance at the schools you list or just about any other. You have to realize that it is likely going to be self-funded. Even if you want a more research-oriented program, you have a decent chance to get in.
