For graduate studies in Structral Engineering, which school is better? UCLA or UC San Diego?

I think UCSD has a really good structural program. When I talked to my professors about which UC I should consider they only mentioned UCB and UCSD ( I am from UCD). Maybe UCSD's civil program isn't top (thought they are top 20s), its structural program is definitely up there. They have been getting a lot of fundings too.

UCSD has a great structural program. If I remember right, they don't have a civil program... only a structural one. UCLA is pretty solid, and you'd get a good undergraduate structural engineering education at either one, but the research going on at UCSD in seismic engineering is a few notches above. At one time, they had the largest shake table in the world at one of their off-campus labs.
