structure & reactivity by coppola?

this book is nonexistant. i have searched on barnes & noble and amazon and i cant find it. can someone provide me a link?

thanks

postscript: i tried searching the ISBN and that didnt yield any results.

Its the coursepack, aka old UM Orgo tests. You need to go to a bookstore on campus, I’m pretty sure

Yeah, I was looking for it too. Then I asked a friend and she said it’s the coursepack and you have to buy it there.

then whats the textbook we need to get? can i get a link for that?

thanks again

[Amazon.com: Organic Chemistry: Structure and Reactivity (9780618318094): Seyhan Ege: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Chemistry-Reactivity-Seyhan-Ege/dp/0618318097)

Although, you won’t really need it. Stick to the coursepack and lecture material.

im looking on ulrich’s bookstore and there are like 4 different books and the structure & reactivity by cappola cant be bought. im getting the package one but i dont know about the others. i feel like they’re are duplicates. when can i buy the one by cappola?

Oh, you must be referring to the coursepack - that you will be able to buy at the bookstore. Just wait until you get on campus, sometimes it isn’t ready right away.

mediabob. Do not buy the package. It’s super expensive and unnecessary to spend $100+

Just buy the textbook and workbook (if you want one) separately at half.com.
It won’t cost you more than $40.

my parents dont mind the price cuz they want me to have every possible opportunity to succeed. and i think the course pack could be helpful (that has all the old tests right?). i bought my calc textbook already and i wanna get my chem stuff because i dont the books to be sold out. i dont know if this is a problem at uofm but my brother who went to a much smaller school said that textbooks getting sold out was a problem in college. so i would rather get them early and look them over a little than get them on time and have the possibility of them being sold out. you know what i mean?

For Orgo, the textbooks will never be sold out.

What are you talking about? More expensive price for textbooks = better chances to succeed? Huh?

And about the coursepack: “it could be helpful” is a huge understatement. It’s probably the only thing you’ll need for that class. By far the most helpful resource you’ll have for orgo, forget the books. People are just trying to help because book deals and sales are big ripoffs if you dont know where to look. But if you wanna waste $ so be it I guess…

So to confirm… All anyone needs for this class is the coursepack, which can only be bought on campus?

I’d really recommend at least borrowing the book to read it for orgo 1 test 3 and orgo 2 test 2. I got A+s both semesters for reference.

Which book, the one linked on Amazon in this thread?

Yeah, the one with the horrible bright green and purple color scheme. I found that for orgo 2, the book was much more organized than my lecture notes and therefore helped me tie concepts together much better (the tables at the end of chapters for orgo 1 test 3 and orgo 2 tests 1 and 2 were also helpful). It also fills in the (few) gaps from your notes and provides repeated (although slightly different, and, in some cases, much more detailed) exposure to the material.

You should try to borrow it, though.

the book is like $20 on half.com right now used.
