I was just wondering because a lot of schools have requirements for what classes you’ve taken like USC.

This site I have linked has been absolutely AMAZING to me. You just have to forgive the annoying ads splattered all over the page. He explains the concepts very well in words, and then of course the visual and interactive aspect of the instruction is what makes this so great for people like me.

I’ve been a fan of khanacademy for some time as well, but I have found that even though it helps a lot, it’s not nearly enough by itself. I suggest a multipronged attack: Read the textbook, try some exercise, go to Khan, practice a tiny bit more, and then go to intmath. I have found that if I’m able to slightly understand something and then go to the intmath website, that site is where I have all of my aha moments, like “oh wow, that finally makes perfect sense to me”.

CGeresti, yes obviously they have requirements/prerequisites. Worst case scenario, not starting out with calc 1 will push you back 1 semester as far as transferring goes. It will not cause USC to treat you like some second-rate student.

Just thought I’d let everyone know I didn’t bomb my tests and can start with calc!
