Struggling in AP Calculus. Need help!!!?

I have a major problem. I don't understand my Calc. teacher at all, partly because he's German. He thinks everyone understands what he's teaching, but I personally don't. He has a bad accent, doesn't speak the best English, and goes way too fast. Most people have C's and D's in the class right now, but I have a B. Out of all my years in high school, I have never gotten a B, and I find myself having difficulty getting an A in this class.

So does anyone know any good websites that teach Calculus well? thanks..

Just read the textbook, it teaches all you need to know.

My textbook doesn’t make sense at all either, the lessons only show basic stuff and not the advanced concepts I need to know to pass the class. BUMP

What do you need help with? Derivatives? Power/Chain/Product/Quotient Rule? You will need to be more specific if you really want help.

Go to youtube. Khanacademy.

What’s your textbook? Also, where are you in class now?

Other than that, khanacademy is a great website. There’s also course-notes.

No pun intended, amirite? ;)

Take Physics C. It’ll make Calculus seem like Algebra 1. There’s some strange psychological reason for it but it’s true. AP Calculus is like my easiest class because I’m also in Physics C, which is 5x harder.

InterAct Math is a really great resource for the class

Do you have time after school? You can ask him questions about the material you don’t understand. Calculus does take some time to understand, so take a few hours, or days, or weeks to self study. It worked for me and I ended up getting a 5 on the test.

[YouTube - patrickJMT’s Channel](http://www.youtube.com/user/patrickjmt?blend=1&ob=4)

This guy has saved me big time in Calculus. No joke, use him often. Other than that, read the book, do the homework, and work on your algebra. Calculus is just algebra on steroids, especially once you get into definite integration, product rule, and the chain rule. Good luck!

khan academy is good, also calculus-help.com

thank you everybody!! I think I’m gonna be using khan academy. I’ll check out those other websites if I need to. this was very helpful! :)
