Struggling to decide between Applied Mathematics and Biomedical Engineering.

So I’m a rising freshman in the class of 2021, and was pretty ardent on majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I plan on pursuing a career in Biotech, and potentially starting a Biotech start up of my own. My plan was originally to major in BiomEng and pursue a grad. degree in business, but I’ve been thinking that maybe Applied Math is the way to go, since it would give me greater versatility; after all, math is involved in both business and biology.

Of course if I did major in Applied Math, I would still pursue a grad degree in Business and BiomEng.

You don’t need to decide yet.

Take classes that would give you flexibility for either.
