I'm a student at a small liberal arts university in the Midwest.
Here is my MWF. TR are similar. I'm currently taking 16 credit hours.

8 AM wake up and get ready
9 AM First class
10-11:15 work at campus job
11:15 dinner
12 PM class
1-2 work at campus job
2 PM class
3-5 work at campus job
5-6 eat supper

By this time I'm so tired. It becomes hard to work on homework. Sometimes taking a nap helps. I am usually ready to work on homework by about 10 PM but if I stay up to late past midnight I'm exhausted the next morning. Also, I do well studying early in the morning but then I don't get my 10PM-midnight energy burst at night.

I've been told by a close friend that I wear myself out because I remember so much both what is going on now and long in the past. I also analyze everything and everyone. I read people and feel how they're feeling.

Jesus what you’re working 5 hours a day at you campus job
You’re only supposed to work 8-10 hours a week in college, any longer and it makes an actual college experience (not to mention learning) impossible. Get down to working 2 hours a day at your job and your life will be a lot easier. Or, better yet, work 5 hours a day on weekends only.

Well, I’m trying to work to get my $3,000 in work-study money. It comes slowly at $7.05 an hour. They didn’t have enough work for me last semester so I’ve been trying to make up for it now.
It is in an office that is closed on weekends otherwise I’d love the weekend option.

So I guess there is no special food I can eat or anything to make this better. I currently have a 3.12 GPA and would like to get that nearer to 3.7.

It depends on where your from. Traditionally that was the case. I grew up in an agricultural family and went to a high school that was somewhat rural where the largest meal of the day was at noon. Lunch and Dinner is the more common terms now just like everywhere else. I’m in the minority using “dinner” and “supper” but there are others.

I appreciate the advice. Sometimes it helps just to talk.
Right now I have
HIST 104 MWF 3
HIST 102 MWF 3
GERM 102 MTRF 4
SOCI 101 TR 3
COMM 211 3

Wait, so in the MidWest they call the afternoon meal “dinner” and the evening meal “supper”?

I have a part-time job and do about 16 credits per semester, and it goes like this:
Mon/Weds:
Wake up at 8, commute to city
Work: 9:30-1pm
1-4:30 - Free time
4:30-5:45 - 1 Class

Tues/Thurs:
Wake up at 6, commuter
8-12:30 - 3 classes back-to-back, same building
Free rest of the day

Friday - Work from 9am-4pm, free rest of day

So my advice is, schedule your classes in blocks, back-to back. Try to do 2 a day instead of 3, and try to get a lot of your work done on the weekend, maybe Sunday since there’s not much to do on Sunday anyway. Profs usually put readings and HW in advance on the syllabus, right?

Edit

I’m just curious - do you have free time for social events, going to parties, etc? I imagine you’re pretty tired and it’s harder for you…maybe you need to find a different job on campus with different hours?

Yes. They have most of what needs to be done on the syllabus. I do a lot of work on the weekend which really helps.
I’m not much of a partier. No, I don’t get to socialize as much as I’d like to. I do have a girlfriend who I try to see once a few for 3 or 4 hours.
I’ll stick it out for the rest of the semester and see what next year brings. Maybe I can get a different job. I currently do multimedia for the web and it is in a dark basement. I’d like to work somewhere that is well lit or at least has windows like the library or in one of the academic departments.

Why not work off-campus in a job that offers weekend hours? It’s not like you are doing so well financially on $7.05. You can make that or more almost anywhere else other than fast food.

So how are you finding the time to be on CC right now? If I had a schedule as packed as yours supposedly is, I wouldn’t waste any of my time fighting for my e-pride.

You’re complaining about working ~4 hours every weekday and taking 16 hours? You need to manage your time more efficiently. Or maybe your diet is terrible, try eating a good meal that will give you enough energy for the day. Don’t mean to sounds mean, but 4.15 hours a day and 16 credits is not bad, especially since the classes you’re taking are basic.

The problem is that you don’t have enough coffee in your diet. One to three cups should be sufficient depending on your size and amount of hours you stay away.

I consistently don’t go to bed until 3am whether it be studying or working (I work about 4 days a week 6 hours a day) and the rest of my time is committed to class and studying. Then again I don’t have a life outside of work/school so it’s easy for me.

I only sleep a total of 6 hours but I function fine when I have my daily mochas :)

Thanks for the help guys. I feel a little better just to share. My school is so small that my schedule isn’t easy to adjust because most classes are only offered at one time for one semester.
I normally avoid caffeine because it is bad for us but have gave in to using it the past week.
I’ll be ok though.
