stuck at 1500's ... help?

Hey college confidential

Well I took the may sats, confident I was at least goin to hit 1700's but nope I hit way way lower then my expectations

I studied really hard for this test, really really hard I don't know what I'm doing wrong

I took it again in june and the only thing that went up was critical reading, by 80 points which I'm happy about but everything else decreased

I'm scared about not going to a good school, I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, english is not my first language but I doubt this is the reason

And I get aroun 85's in school and my average is an 85... guess I'm like joe bloggs

Aniwais I bought books, princeton review and barron, I've studied them but nothing helping

I don't have money to afford a class
Any advice?

Well, first of all, you need to identify exactly where you are encountering problems. Is it that you can't finish in time? You don't understand the concepts? You're just not a strong test taker? Once you figure out what's getting you, you can practice to specifically improve skills in that area.

I don't see that u mentioned the official SAT studyguide (the bb, blue book). get it. do it. done.
