Stuck in a dilemma. Help please!!!

BACKGROUND INFO---

-> INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT :(

-> Applying to US colleges in November for Computer Science and Physics (Purdue, UMich, GaTech = First choices)

-> Gave October SAT1 yesterday (firstime). Was aiming for 2100+ but made a terrible mistake! (marked answers in wrong section. Trying to rectify them took a long time so wasn't able to finish all CR questions (left almost 10))

-> I should score around 1950 in this test. Don't want to send such a poor score

-> Want to retake SAT in November

PROBLEM---

-> Deadline passed for Nov test :(

-> Registered as a WAITLIST (not sure whether I'll be able to sit for the test)

-> Will surely register for December test. ON TIME... Deadline = Nov 1st

-> November Test date = 3rd nov

-> Want to give Subject test also (phy, chem, Math2).

-> Don't know which test to register for on December. SAT2 or SAT1?

OPTION 1---

-> Register for SAT1 December.

-> Problem = If I'm able to give SAT1 in November then no point giving it in December again. + I will not be able to give SAT2 untill January (quite late for an international applicant).

OPTION 2---

-> Register for SAT2 December.

-> Problem = If I'm NOT able to give SAT1 in Nov then Oct SAT score will put me significantly down. + January SAT1 would be too late.

Please tell me what to do. Also I would really appreciate any help or other suggestions.
I cannot chuck subject tests since they will demonstrate my true skills. I can score 750+ in each. So what's more important Subject tests or SAT1? Wouldn't it be too late to send scores in January?
So if I give SAT2 in December and use Oct SAT score (1950) will I have a decent chance, and will they consider my January SAT1 scores?
Or If I give SAT1 in December and send those scores will they consider my January SAT2 scores?

SideNote: I'm sorry for writing such a long post. But thank you for reading it :)

If you think you can nail a 1950, it’s not at all bad for those schools. But they don’t give a lot of financial aid to internationals (if any). I’ll suggest you take the ACT in November and then your SAT 2 in November as well except you don’t have ACT in your country. Don’t worry just pray, I know that can hurt but couldn’t you have begged your proctor to give you extra time to fill in the correct sections. There are actually nice proctors you know.

I have already registered for november SAT1 as a WAITLIST. So I am not sure whether I will take the test.

But hey! Thanks for the advice :slight_smile: You actually opened my eyes. There’s an ACT test in December. SAT2 is on a different date. So I can give both ACT and SAT2 in december and discard my October SAT1 scores.

So I will register for SAT2 in December and also the ACT in place of SAT1. If I am able to sit in nov exam and do well I will send those scores instead. Or else I will do well on ACT :)

1950 may be a decent score. It’s okay if I don’t get financial aid. I just want to get accepted. But I think computer science is very competitive for international students.

Just wanna know. December tests aren’t late right? They say January is the last month to take the standardized tests. But, I’m an international student so…

It’s mostly Jan 2 but check the school’s site to be sure.
