I don't know what went wrong in my SAT I paper. I scored 760 in Maths. But my Critical Reading and Writing scores didn't break the 550 barrier. My total score was 1820. Terrible!
Now there's only the January SAT Test Date that remains. I haven't taken the SAT II yet. Should I take the SAT I test again. I'll definitely score more than 1820. Now the ultimate question: the January SAT test date - SAT I or SAT II?

anyone. please.

I have the same problem pretty much; I need to take both tests. If you didn't know they hold SATs in December, the deadline is today.

why don't you take the SAT in December?
late registration is still open.
you could also go on standby.

i m international student. no SAT in dec for me.

If your schools require SAT Subject Tests, then you really have no choice but to take them.

Like Arachnotron said, many schools absolutely require SAT II tests, so taking them is definitely something you should do. Is there any arrangement you can make which will let you take the SAT I on the same day?

although they're not the same, what if you did well on sat II lit, to perhaps somewhat nullify the bad cr score?

SAT II lit is about 10x harder than CR. If you got a "bad" CR score, I don't know how you would get a "high" lit score. That said, it'd probably not nullify it only because they test different types of material (but it'd still be impressive).

Definitely take the SAT IIs. A lot of colleges still require them, and I don't think you want to take them all off your list.
Your SAT score is decent. This one test is not the be-all and end-all of your application, and you can make up for your poorer CR and W scores by doing well in English classes and/or taking the SAT II Lit.
