I'm a 17 year old white female Georgia resident who has applied Early Action for the University of Georgia. I did this with a lot of counselor persuasion, being told I had "nothing to lose". Here is what UGA knows about me so far for EA:
-GPA : 3.64
-SAT: v 520 m 480
-ACT: 23
-AP Courses: 7

(I have taken all Honors/Gifted classes my freshman - junior years with two AP classes. This year I am taking 5 AP courses.)

As you can see, I have challenged myself during high school. I'm not a genius but I feel I have a pretty solid GPA according to the classes that I have taken. I don't know WHAT happened with my SAT score, I've only taken it once and didn't study or anything and didn't study for the ACT much either. I know UGA has high standards for EA but can anyone give me their opinions for regular decission?

I'm an excellent writer and I'm sure I'll write a great essay. I'm currently student 35 out of around 375 students. I have lettered in four varsity sports and year-round I participate in cross country, swimming, and pole vaulting. (as I take on homework of 5 AP classes) I also have a long list of other extra curriculars (won't sit here and bore you) and volunteering and have credible teacher rec's. I guess I'm nothing special but I do feel somewhat qualified to go to a good solid school. What do you think? Help!

What I really want to know is, according to these stats, should I even bother applying regular decission once I get deferred EA?
