As I said earlier, my daughter is going on her fifth trip this summer. I thought four was enough! But she convinced her mom and dad that this sounded like the best trip ever. It is a new itinerary that only two delegations will be able to experience. Will it help on her college application? Well not as much as they lead you to believe. And I never recommend to new parents to pay for the college credits that are offered. Is it just a trip? It depends on how you look at it. My daughter has climbed the Sydney bridge, attended a high school in New Zealand, went behind the scenes of a London show, volunteered at a children's camp. I could go on and on. Would you do all these things on a family trip? Is it valuable to live and travel with other teens? Is it too expensive? Maybe, but that is up to you. No one is forcing you or your child to go. I obvious love the program and all the teachers that have gone with her. Just my two cents and then some!
