do they send us the handbooks or it's just online?

so what happens now that deposit has been made, will they be sending us more informations on courses, move-in day and whatnots? or we have to wait till orientation day (ours isn't till Aug)?

i think I'm starting to panic now, so much to do .... and I'm not sure what they are ....

Sorry can't remember about handbooks- I think they give them at Orientation.

Just a quick hug from mom to mom-
You'll be fine, don't worry. I'm looking forward to seeing you here next year calmly giving answers to new parents.

D hasn't made her final choice yet. She almost clicked the "submit" button for USC last night, but decided to sleep on it and decide today. Is it silly that one of the reasons I want her to go to USC is because USC has the BEST moms on CC??????

USC has the best mom cause we all belong to the Trojan family!

Columbia_Student -- on the Parent's website, there is a version of the Parent's handbook and there is a version of the Student's handbook on the student's website. I think it's different from the catalog. Maybe the 2008/2009 versions aren't out yet. I like to have hard copies to read at my convenience.

Yay alamemom! So glad she finally made a decision. I am sure she will be very happy at USC and it's such a relief to move to the next stage of planning for next year. What schools was she considering up to this late date? And what is her major? But most important: Welcome to the cc-mom-of-a-Trojan club!!

THANKS! All of you have no idea how much you helped us in the process - every time we had a question, I knew I could find a great answer right here. madbean: Major: Anthropolgy. By mid-April, she had it narrowed down to UC Berkeley, UCLA and USC. All great options, but finally it was the Thematic Option program and the generous scholarships and aid that USC offered that made it the best choice. (It seems so obvious now, why did it take her so long!)
