student-athlete

hey guys, I posted this message somewhere else but this seems more public. I am a high school football player who is getting recruited by ivy league schools and some patriot league schools. But the thing is, is that my GPA is not so hot. But I did get a 28 on the ACT (1260/1600 SAT). I calculated my class rank and test scores and it shows that I fit into the ivy leagues "band system". But i'm just concerned that my GPA will hold me back from getting into the school itself. Any advice/guidance?

You’ll probably get more accurate info in this forum:

Your grades and GPA are what they are…If your GPA and SAt don’t work out with the academic index, you won’t go far in the ivy recruiting. Those recruited are scholar-athletes…scholars first and foremost.
Retake the ACT.
If you are that good, there is an opportunity for $ at D1s
