Can anyone provide some information on what the banking options are by Wash U? Which one is most commonly used by students. Who has the best/closest cash stations?

There is a Bank of America on and a few around campus with many ATMs.

Banking and Finances

Most kids seem to use B of A. They have a convenient office on campus, and in the past have given students free accounts. You might want to consider opening an account in your home town prior to arriving at WashU. It can be a real zoo in the on campus B of A office during the first few days of school.

tl;dr just get a BoA

Ideally you'd want to have a bank that is both supported in your hometown and in St. Louis. Bank of America is of course a great option since there are several branches in St. Louis and there are ATMs on campus. If you're from the South or Midwest, Regions would be a good option as well.

There's a Bank of America and a BoA ATM on Danforth campus, as well as multiple BoA ATM's right outside the dorms (definitely one below Gregg, and there would be one at Umrath as well if it wasn't getting torn down, I dunno if they're replacing it). Either way... yeah. DEFINITELY go BoA.
