Student Center Food Options

The new student center has not opened officially, but the food court is now open with limited hours.
Here is a list of the food options which should all be open in the next few weeks:

California Pizza Kitchen
Lemonade
Panda Express
Wahoo's
Carl's Jr.
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Seed's Marketplace
Traditions Bar & Grill-Features 10 flat screen TVs
Moreton Fig-Named for the huge Moreton Fig trees on campus-Dining and cocktails

Any word yet on what they’re going to do with The Lot? And Wahoo’s at Cafe 84?

The Lot is going to close, and will probably go back to being a parking lot. Baja Fresh is moving to 84.

really? My OA said The Lot would probably become like offices or something.

They will probably use the Lot as temporary offices for construction teams, for other university construction projects due to start soon on and near campus.

Long term, I doubt the Lot is structurally considered a permanent building. They will knock it down and almost certainly build a new (permanent) building in its place.

for a while there was a rumor going around that they were going to put retail stores in there. like forever 21 and some other places sicne the closest mall is the grove. but i dont think thats going to happen

Um yeah, that’s definitely not going to happen. No way they’re going to have retail stores in the middle of campus. If they do, I want gold-plated toilets and 50" LED TVs in every dorm.

There were some boys in my D’s freshman dorm who did have a 50" TV in their room. And a bar!!
