<p>So you just need a gator 1 and a student ticket. The gator 1 that got the ticket doesn’t have to be the same gator 1 that gets you into the game.</p>
<p>I am most certainly sure that selling tickets that you won from the student lottery is an honor code violation.</p>

<p>Even if it is, no one really cares or enforces it. The honors program listserve probably has one of the highest number of emails about selling tickets in fall.</p>
<p>Also, I believe, if you buy a student ticket and you are not a student, you can take said student ticket to the ticket office on game day and pay the upcharge to a regular ticket and use with no problem then. At least, my friends have done that in years past.</p>
<p>I was not successful with the lottery in 2008, but was for 2006 and 2007. My experience was this:</p>
<p>At the student gate, they check for a Gator1 ID that at least somewhat looks like you, the tickets themselves have no name on them and are simply torn at the gate.</p>
<p>The simple act of checking IDs seriously backed up the entrance in 06/07 to the point where getting at the gate 20 minutes before kickoff meant missing the first series of the game. I don’t remember hearing about any changes in 2008.</p>

<p>You don’t even need to present to pick up the your tickets. I’d give my gator one to my friends so they can pick up my ticket along their’s. That way we could be seated together. =) I always had class when my friends went to pick up tickets.</p>
