Student from Indonesia with a dilemma

Hello, I am an Indonesian high school student heading to the States to pursue a higher eduation.
I only have one problem, my GPA is really low (3.0 or 85% percentile) but the Indonesian curriculum scoring, I think, is really unfair. 85 in my home country would qualify as a B+. I also do not have honours or APs because my school doesn't have those.

My SAT is pretty solid for my choices of schools, around 1930 (R 650 M 670 W 610) and my Toefl IBT score is 108. I have decent ECs ( Head of Donations on a large event, School Council member, Club President and founder, Traditional music player, school percussion team, played in a band, English speech competition second place, aspiring film maker).

What do guys think I should do? Is there a chance I might be accepted?

Schools that admit international students should be familiar with your country’s grading system. If you are really in 85 percentile then that’s okay. What are you parents able to spend? And do you know what you want to study?

Hello, thank you for replying.

My targets are
University of California - San Diego
University of Minesotta Twin Cities
University of Colorado at Boulder
University of California - LA (Long shot, probably)
University of Wisconsin at Madison
Oregon State University
University of California - Berkeley (Also a long shot)
University of Texas at Austin
I’m still looking for more colleges, but should I aim lower or perhaps higher?

Regarding funds, I am fortunate that my parents would pay full tuition to most of these schools, but scholarships are also highly appreciated (I’m also trying to find them, don’t want my parents to spend too much for me)
My main major is Chem Engineering
Other options are Economy, Math, Physics
I’m also interested in Sound Engineering, it really sounds interesting.

I would also aim for some lower schools. The fact that you are full pay is most helpful.
For scholarship opportunities, look for schools where you are above the 75% of GPA/SAT.

Hello, do you think that my choices are a little too far fetched? I haven’t admitted to one of those schools yet, and I’d probably maximize the advantages gained from early admission. My main target is University of Minesotta Twin Cities with Chem Engineering major, do you guys think I might go through with the scores that I’ve got?

Thank you in advance for replying, you guys have been very helpful!
