I am now a senior, am looking at my options, and have decided that I will most likely double major in Business and Economics. My Class Rank is weak, due to transfer of credits from a different system, and my ECs are weak for my Junior year due to the shift.

In addition to chancing me, please suggest Colleges and LACs with good Business and Economics programs that I have a chance to get into. My problem is that because of the Top 10% rule, I only have a safety (A&M) and all the other are reaches, so please suggest some possible matches. Looking for colleges that have good econs programs, and that I can get into. Thanks a lot for your time.

bump bump…

Southwestern and Austin are both in TX and are good LACs. I’m at Rhodes College in Memphis, and we’ve got a growing international student population, business/econ is the biggest department, and after TN more students come from TX than any other. Also our only graduate degree is in Accounting if you decide to go that route professionally. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks a lot, will look into them… but most probably i will get an MBA.

Well Economics is one major I plan to study. I’m still looking for LACs great in economics also, I would suggest for you to look into:
Grinnell College, Macalester College, Clareton College, Swarthmore College, ( all I can think of right now)
