Yes, I know it’s Fox News, but please refrain from the jokes about them. This story is appalling. I hope that the lawyer makes headway with Polk University on this issue, recovers her grade, and somehow reins in this “professor.”
The only thing I wonder is what the class was about (or supposed to be about.)
If you google the case you will see that she was given 4 "0"s b/c she did not answer the question at all - left it blank. Her other marks- before AND after were A’s. Not sure what other mark he could have given when somebody turns in a blank assignment.
The teacher explicitly asks students to think in different ways than they are used to. Whatever else about your views on the merits of his teaching approach, it is not specifically anti-Christian- it approaches religion / philosophy from an evolutionary perspective (that is, how they developed over time). In SOME branches of Christianity that is not ok.
