Is student government actually valued on a college application (such as Class President, vp, treasurer etc.)? Or is it just another "NHS", as it's called? [ivy league caliber schools]

president. others are crap.

Yes, student government demonstrates leadership. And no, you don't only have to be president for it to matter. NHS is National Honors Society, which is something different and equally important.

Both student government and National Honor Society can be labelled as ECs in your application. And it isn't all about president.

ook. but isn't NHS just like a norm? is participating in Student Gov't the same prestige as NHS?

I hate people being president for EC's.

I dont do anything tho.
