<p>I was planning on running for student government positions in student council. Does it matter to colleges WHAT I run for? For example, is President looked on more favorably than Vice President or treasurer, etc.?</p>
<p>I am not an admissions officer. But i can tell you that leadership positions look very good, specially if you have something to show for it. </p>
