Student harrasement

Hello guys, I've been currently have a problem lately with someone I knew from my High School. He goes to a different college than me that is like 8 hours away from our hometown. I was recently told by one of my friends that his friend pranked him to go onto his facebook account and change his name to my name. My friend told me that it wasn't really his fault. I have been telling him to stop trying to be me and he refuses to listen to any of the orders. It's been getting slightly annoying. So now, he doesn't want to change his name back on facebook, I don't know what consequences to give him. I don't like to get others in big trouble even though they're diots most of the time and I don't like to hunt down other people too to hurt them, as I'm not usually that type of guy sometimes. I was wondering if there are any ways for someone from a different school to get another person at a different school in trouble if he continues to mentally make fun of me or insult me on facebook? (Everyone from our HS even knows that I'm the only kid with my own name and there is not a second "me.")

You’re in college now. Let go of the high school crap. Move on.

Ignore his immature behavior. Ignore his “fake” facebook account. Ignore listening to gossip from your old high school classmates.

Spend more time being involved with your college life and less time paying attention to past high school jerks.

I guess you could always report him on Facebook??

Yeah, I would try reporting him on facebook. But other than that, if all your old high school friends know that he’s not the real you, I would try to let it go, since it doesn’t really matter. There are lots of people on facebook who really do have the same names, and it seems to work out okay for them. This guy is only ruining his own facebook experience, because now people he meets at his college will have a harder time finding him.

Like nysmile said, ignore him. Don’t let him get a reaction out of you, because that’s probably what he wants. If he thinks you don’t care anymore, maybe he’ll stop.

Wow, you’re an idiot, lol.
