<p>my son is an incoming freshman and hasn’t received the housing application yet. he’s unable to find it on the website, and nothing has come via regular mail or e-mail. have people started the housing process yet?? i know that housing is guaranteed for freshmen, but i’d like for him to get his preferences in at least, rather than just placed wherever…</p>
<p>if there’s any student out there who has been able to access this housing application, can u let me know how you did it? THANK YOU!!!</p>
<p>You cannot access the student housing website until you recieve an official invitation. Your son should be recieveing that around mid may as long as he SIRs in time.</p>
<p>thank you, shadey. your comment confirmed what i was thinking. the guy on the phone sounded panicked when my son told him he hadn’t applied for housing yet (“you haven’t DONE that yet?!?!”), so i started to worry. </p>
<p>note to incoming frosh: sometimes the students calling you in the evening (while they probably mean well) may not be the best people to assist you. when in doubt, always call the office in question directly-- if at all possible.</p>
