<p>Do many students leave to go home on the weekends? I have heard that SJU is a suitcase school.</p>

<p>This is what we’ve been told (by current students) - while there are a fair number of students who are “local” and live close enough to SJU to be able to go home on weekends, there are more than enough students whom stay on-campus through the weekends to do things with, and it’s not really conisdered a suitcase school, from what I understand… </p>
<p>Of course, each student’s own expectations of how many kids need to remain on campus to remove that distinction will vary. What is “enough” to one kid might not be “enough” to another kid.</p>
<p>Actually - reading this forum - I’ve only heard positive stuff about SJU, not too many comments about the suitcase school part …</p>
