<p>I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is a specific order in which the direct stafford loan
and the Parent Plus Loan are disbursed? For example, is the Parent Plus Loan disbursed first to pay
for tuition, and then the Direct Stafford Loans are disbursed to pay off any remaining fees?</p>

<p>I think it might be the other way around…Direct Loan gets disbursed to the university first. Parent Plus is used to pay additional costs.</p>

<p>It appears the Parent Plus loans are dispursed first around the end of Aug. and then the student loans hit the account at the end of Sept after the drop period is over at semester schools.</p>
