Student Mental Health Services--Northwestern compared to peer schools

A thoughtful article that looks primarily at mental health services at Northwestern University, but also compares it against several peer schools, including Cornell, Duke, Chicago, Vanderbilt and WashU.

Sadly, three more Northwestern students have died since the spring publication of this article. Two of these deaths were most probably by suicide, but not officially confirmed.

I think their staff is far too small for the size of the student body. At my local,U, the staff is more like 28, twice the size. Theynhalve a list of local providers they refer to for long term treatment.
