Hi all,

Just curious what the best route would be. I am changing careers.

I am currently an English Lit Major and Journalism Minor.

I would like to cover political issues, investigative journalism and also write. Focusing in on either NYC or DC for relocation.

I also want to leave myself the most career options.

Unfortunately I am a bit too far along to do the Journalism full major, and some of the classes seem a bit unnecessary for me as I am already a multimedia wiz coming from a web development background.

Would it be OK to cover Politics without a degree in PS?

I am considering switching the major as I have a lot of PS electives, or should I stick with the English major?

I have heard conflicting

Honestly I think I have a good grasp on politics and need more work in writing. I have done Model UN etc...

Thoughts?

Would English plus journalism minor be OK with poli sci electives?

I'm also semifluent in French/Spanish and taking more French as I think I am weak in that.
