Student Organizations and Grades

<p>1.) Why do many student organizations on campus ask for grades?</p>

<p>2.) Do the presidents/any other member actually have access to our grades? Some of my friends are presidents of clubs that require a transcript (esp the business ones like The Berkeley Group) and it would be very embarrassing to see if they could access my grades...</p>
