Student organizations/ EC's to get into Top 10 Business School

I am interested in attending a Top 10 business school (preferably HBS or CBS) to pursue my MBA.

I am currently an undergrad at Purdue and I am wondering what student organizations and EC's are the most respected. Also, I did things a little backwards and worked full time directly after high school for five years. I quickly excelled at all my positions. The plan was only to take a year off but obviously lasted longer than that. I am now in college - my expected GPA at graduation will be 3.8. I have taken a practice GMAT with a score of 680, but that is with no formal classes or studying so I expect it to be much higher. I am also working full time.

So my two questions are: What EC's and student orgs should I join? Will my work experience be sufficient? I really don't want to work after after my undergrad before business school seeing as that I will be 27 when I graduate Purdue.
