<p>Son was wondering if there is a student organizations "fair" or "booth" display at any time near the opening of school. Do they usually have something during welcome week?</p>

<p>My d said there is a fair at the opening of school.</p>
<p>S says there will be tables/booths outside of Russell House all during the welcome week along with free activities and giveaways,including t shirts,water bottles,food,etc.The welcome week actitivites sched should be posted online soon or if not, the first issue of the Daily Gamecock will have special sections devoted to the schedule, sports,etc.That will be available in the lobby of their dorm.</p>
<p>Thanks, birdie and cathymee. That's nice that the info is available in the dorm lobby. S is getting excited! Started packing some things today. Wish I had all those plastic bins that EAdad had to throw out!! LOL!!</p>
